The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented WordPress Freelancer with expertise in AWS migration and SSO integration to join our dynamic team.

The scope involves copying an existing WordPress website and migrating it into the client's AWS infrastructure, and ensuring proper adjustments to the Single Sign-On (SSO) setup.

In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing our digital presence and ensuring seamless user experiences across our platforms, ultimately contributing to our mission of innovation and excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• WordPress specialist profile – the candidate should be able to handle the migration of a WordPress website.

• Migration to AWS – moving the WordPress site from its current hosting (e.g., a server in Poland) into EBU’s AWS tenant.

• Work with SSO (Single Sign-On) – transition from the current ForgeRock solution to Microsoft SSO.

• Understanding of infrastructure and configuration – setting up the environment, integrating the database, managing static file storage, load balancing, caching, and security settings.

Required experience:

• Hands-on experience in migrating WordPress sites to AWS (EC2 for the web server, RDS for the database, S3 for media storage, DNS configuration).

• Knowledge and experience with AWS services – EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, security groups, IAM, backups, and monitoring (CloudWatch).

• Experience with SSO integrations (SAML, Microsoft SSO).

• Nice to have: familiarity with AWS LightSail as a managed service for WordPress.

• General skills in performance optimization, problem-solving, and minimizing downtime during migrations.

• Willingness to collaborate with the team (web architect, project manager, IT applications manager).
