For our customer in Geneva, Switzerland we are looking for a 2nd level field support engineer with the following attributes:

Core Responsibilities

  • Handle users' requests and work according to centralised incident management processes
  • Ensure communication between IT and users (customers)
  • Handle VIP requests
  • Solve incidents related to PC configurations
  • Follow up on incidents
  • Install and maintain workstations
  • Ensure the support of standard applications
  • Follow-up of the inventory of hardware and software
  • Support application integration in a large corporate environment
  • Adopt a customer-oriented attitude and an adequate presentation with the spirit of the function
  • Collaboration with other Support groups of the organization

Primary Qualifications (experience)

  • Windows 10 desktop installation and migration
  • Sound knowledge of voice equipment (Alcatel Dect and Desktop) 
  • A few years of experience as an IT analyst within a large organization
  • Knowledge of SW distribution tools
  • Good knowledge of IT hardware (PC, Printer, scanner, Mobile devices etc..)
  • Very deep knowledge in Microsoft environment especially Windows 7 and Office
  • General knowledge of IT infrastructure : Lan, WAN, SAP, Windows servers
