Freelance Jira SSO Migration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Jira SSO Migration Specialist to lead the transition of Jira’s Single Sign-On (SSO) integration from Forgerock to Microsoft SSO.

This is a freelance role that requires a professional with strong Jira expertise and the ability to work independently.

The primary focus will be to ensure a seamless SSO migration and optimize Jira’s performance post-migration. The role also includes potential for future customizations, such as setting up workflows or creating pages (e.g., HR pages).

Responsibilities:

• Manage the transition of Jira’s SSO integration from Forgerock to Microsoft SSO.
• Ensure Jira operates smoothly post-migration by configuring and optimizing settings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Jira authentication and functionality during the migration process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all necessary resources and information are in place.
• Perform Jira customizations as required, including future workflow or page setups.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Jira administration, configuration, and customization.
• Hands-on expertise with SSO integrations, particularly transitioning from Forgerock to Microsoft SSO.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Problem-solving skills for handling Jira authentication and functionality issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem tools (e.g., Azure AD) and SSO protocols like SAML or OAuth is a plus.
