Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer specialized in Azure Databricks to support the implementation of a data lakehouse solution. You will collaborate with data architects, analysts, and engineers to design, build, and deploy scalable and efficient data processing frameworks to enhance data-driven decision-making capabilities within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and optimize data ingestion pipelines using Azure Databricks
• Develop scalable and reliable data transformation and processing solutions
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams to align data strategies and architecture
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security within the data lakehouse

Provide guidance on best practices for data management within Azure environments

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Azure Databricks
• Solid expertise in building data lakehouse architectures
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and related Azure cloud services
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, and Spark
• Excellent understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices
• Effective communicator capable of working independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in German is a nice-to-have
