What we’re all about:

Uberflip empowers marketers, publishers, professionals, educators and corporations with the tools to produce, distribute and track their content on any web enabled device. Our clients have been converting traditional print versions of magazines, flyers, catalogs, brochures, corporate documents, textbooks, and newspapers into branded digital editions with us since 2008.

Who we’re looking for: 

-Minimum six years experience designing, implementing, and operating Linux-based infrastructure for a 24x7 production environment

-Demonstrated ability to build high-performance, reliable, scalable, highly availabile, and secure infrastructure for a large-scale web service delivery environment

-Minimum six years systems administration experience with CentOS and Debian

-Minimum six months experience with cfengine 3

-Strong knowledge of networking at all layers, switching, ARP, IP, TCP/UDP/ICMP, DNS, SSL, HTTP, HTTPS

-Strong knowledge of storage technologies, SANs, LVM, iSCSI, multipath,NFS, enterprise backup solutions

-Basic understanding of Kerbros and LDAP

-Excellent knowledge of PXE, kickstart, subversion, Apache, KVM, and MySQL

-Demonstrated knowledge of system administration best practices, especially in areas of configuration management and security

-Experience with pound, bacula, shorewall, pdns, Redmine, and memcached is highly preferred

-Experience with ProLiant servers and ProCurve switches is highly preferred

-Existing access to and familiarity with 151 Front is highly preferred


Where you'll be working:

Working from our Toronto office located in Liberty Village and our 151 Front Street data centre twice per week for approx 20 hours/week (choice of days/hours is yours)
