TurnKey Vacation Rentals (TurnKeyVR.com) is a leading, technology-focused vacation rental management company founded by former HomeAway/VRBO and Hotwire executives. We are well-funded, based in Austin and operate in more than 50 markets, ranging from Austin to Santa Barbara to Vail to Ft. Lauderdale and many locations in between. We are growing rapidly and our goal is to become the largest national vacation rental management firm by offering homeowners advanced vacation rental management services, with higher revenues, at lower cost.

The Ecommerce Product Manager is a new role at TurnKey Vacation Rentals that will be focused on developing and implementing the product strategy that will maximize the revenue we generate from our website.  You’ll achieve this through an iterative approach to increasing organic traffic and delivering a frictionless online experience that continuously improves UX and conversion rate. You will also be responsible for all aspects of defining, launching, and iterating on new products / features related to our website, as well as making improvements to the existing platform.

What you'll do:

  • Understand the wants and needs of guests researching and booking vacation rentals on Turnkeyvr.com. Plus, understand how potential homeowners researching property management services use and convert on our website.
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and measure initiatives that help guests find the perfect vacation rental and transact on Turnkeyvr.com
  • Use agile methodologies to launch and manage products working in conjunction with with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders
  • Manage the product process for our website from idea generation through product releases and maturity
  • Develop, build, and leverage a reporting dashboard that monitors the key metrics of the website and other related business goals
  • Setup and monitor customer feedback loops (surveys, view session recordings, user testing, etc) as well as internal feedback to improve the guest and homeowner experience
  • Clearly communicate plans and progress to internal teams

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce management
  • Deep understanding of SEO as well as how to monitor and measure search engine performance
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and measuring A/B tests
  • Experience working closely with an engineering team to execute product launches, enhancements, and fix defects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects end-to-end with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, design, and QA
  • Exceptional Excel skills for conducting analysis and quantitative modeling; experience with or willingness to learn SQL or data visualization tool such as tableau
  • Strategic, data-driven mentality
  • Ability to make challenging business decisions and determine tradeoffs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Enthusiastic teamwork and collaboration
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects

Bonus points for:

  • Prior experience at a B2C ecommerce company
  • Travel industry experience
  • Background in engineering and data analytics
