TurnKey Vacation Rentals ( is a leading, technology-enabled vacation rental management company started by former HomeAway/VRBO and Hotwire executives.  We are based in Austin, TX and we manage over 2,300 properties in 50+ markets including Austin, Lake Tahoe, Port Aransas, Palm Springs, and Santa Barbara.  We are growing rapidly and our goal is to become the largest firm nationally by offering homeowners advanced vacation rental management services, with higher revenues at a lower cost.

We are looking for a temporary contracted Digital Asset Manager to assist our Listing Performance Marketing & Onboarding team in Austin. Help out a growing team, where you will work with local and field-based teams to help our short-term-rental owners prepare their homes for listing on the top vacation rental home websites.  

This is a critical function at TurnKey, ideally suited for a technically-savvy, detail-oriented individual who will assure that TurnKey vacation rental listings are both engaging and accurate.  The Digital Asset Manager assumes primary responsibility for visually representing homes in the TurnKey network of vacation rental homes.

What you’ll do:

  • Evaluate vacation rental photography and other digital assets for quality and adherence to TurnKey standards
  • Select photography for vacation rental listings, ensuring a compelling representation of the home
  • Manage pre- and post-production tasks and workflow, to include photo editing, uploading, and sorting
  • Manage TurnKey's digital asset portfolio, to include receiving, annotation, storage, retrieval, and usage tracking of digital assets
  • Select and prepare digital assets for marketing and distribution efforts, to include management within various content management systems

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ year's experience in photo editing
  • Proficient in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, as well as proficient in both Windows and Mac platforms
  • Understanding of professional photography production processes
  • Experience with real estate or architectural photography and marketing

  • Experience supporting multi-channel digital marketing programs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the capability to listen
  • Knowledge of usage rights and copyright infringement
  • Experience in the vacation rental industry, hospitality, travel, or real estate marketing is a strong plus
  • Employee must be a fast learner, tech savvy, problem solver, with a photographer's eye, independent worker, focused in a  fast paced environment
