We need a passionate, innovative web developer to join Turn and create a world-class website that is the envy of other marketing departments. The candidate will be developing, managing and maintaining the Turn.com corporate website, including microsites and campaign landing pages. This individual must have expertise in Web content, usability, architecture, development and design, as well as in managing external agencies. This individual will drive our global website strategy, focusing on creating digital best practices, site optimization, governance, global efficiency and scale. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for reporting on results and making recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a global corporate website strategy
  • Create digital standards and best practices for our global websites
  • Develop SEO strategies and best practices for Turn.com
  • Work with the Brand team to design and implement on-brand web experiences (product pages, microsites) on the corporate website, taking a mobile-first approach and using next-generation strategies and development tools such as responsive design and social integration and work with web agencies to ensure content is up to date on the front end and back end.
  • Act as the technical lead for all digital projects, including SEM, retargeting, 3rd party tracking testing, email platforms, and digital campaigns.
  • Work with regional marketing leads to design and implement campaign landing pages and microsites, and appropriate tagging, campaign tracking codes, and other analytics vehicles as needed
  • Manage Turn’s website platforms (Drupal, Ooyala, CDN, Linux-based servers)
  • Ongoing management of content via Drupal 
  • Manage Turn’s marketing automation and analytics platforms (Eloqua, Omniture)
  • Manage vendor relationships with Omniture, Eloqua, Ooyala, and external agencies
  • Analytics: Provide reporting metrics for Regional teams for program and campaign performance – via Eloqua, Omniture, etc. 

Preferred Skills

  • Fluent in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Familiarity with the DOM and ECMAScript 5
  • XML and JSON fluency
  • Keen sense of information architecture and visual design
  • Strong site-build background with both technical and visual expertise
  • Experience leveraging Web standards
  • Ability to write pixel-accurate code that accurately replicates a designed layout across a range of primary target platforms 
  • Rich media experience
  • Experience with Responsive Design and Mobile First Methodology
  • Experience with CSS Preprocessors
  • Experience with front end performance optimization
  • Experience implementing digital advertising campaigns (tagging, campaign IDs, tracking codes, cookies)
  • Experience working with a Content Management System such as Drupal.
  • Good knowledge of data privacy principles
