Description

In this high profile, hands-on position, you will report directly to the CFO and lead the Corporate Finance function.  You will be responsible for supporting and providing timely and in depth analyses and insights that will lead to critical business decisions across all functional teams in the company, including Accounting, Sales, Client Services, Marketing, Business Development, Product, Engineering and Network Operations.  In addition, you will be responsible for preparing monthly reporting and analysis of actual results for Senior Management, and extensive financial modeling and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Sales and Business Development teams to perform financial analyses and due diligence for sales partnership and business development opportunities
  • Participate in and lead analytic projects supporting strategy and business operations
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process
  • Perform monthly detailed line item P&L variance analysis
  • Prepare monthly revenue and cost analysis
  • Review and analyze key financial metrics and business drivers
  • Assist in preparing month-end internal financial reporting packages for senior management
  • Proactively question processes and procedures and implement change to gain efficiencies and streamline workflows
  • Manage companywide commission and bonus program
  • Perform Marketing competitive analysis

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in fast paced, high-tech start-up environments
  • Bachelors Degree in business related field
  • 2+ years experience with online advertising or online media
  • Demonstrated extensive financial modeling skills
  • Very strong background in financial analysis with a solid understanding of the Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement
  • Ability to analyze raw data and process into meaningful and insightful reports
  • Very process oriented.  Ability to analyze current processes, suggest and define improvements, and implement them
  • Ability to develop sound analytical frameworks and use these to provide informed recommendations to senior executives
  • Very customer focused and ability to build rapport and trust with peers and management alike
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive under a high pressure, dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial, high degree of initiative
  • Industrious with ability to find the necessary information and tap into the proper resources to complete a project
  • Strong computer skills including, Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel
