Salesforce Analyst

The Salesforce Analyst will work hand-in-hand with our Sales Operations team to manage our overall instance of Salesforce with tasks ranging from performing day-to-day admin functions to running point on execution of all updates/changes to process within our instance. We are looking for a candidate who is Admin 201 Certified and will bring an arsenal of Salesforce best practices from previous experience with Salesforce Administration. He/She must possess strong communication skills while working cross-functionally and exhibit a natural curiosity for learning how departments at Turn can optimize business processes within Salesforce.  In order to be successful he/she must be a proactive self-starter who collaborates well with the Sales Ops team, but works well independently and has a high attention to detail.  Turn provides a fun, fast paced, and dynamic workplace environment in a growing industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Attend to basic Salesforce Administration tasks including access management, permission sets, role assignments, configuration and data migration tasks, data backups, sandbox, and Helpdesk case queue

  • Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, workflows, sharing rules, etc.

  • Monitor and analyze site metrics, system performance, and user activity

  • Provide first-level support to the field, including issue identification, and resolution/escalation

  • Maintain data quality through ongoing data analysis, record de-duplication, and other related tasks, and identify and remediate break points or loopholes that contribute to bad data

  • Manage Salesforce integrations and partake in decision process for incorporating new tools including evaluating 3rd party solutions and appexchange packages as needed

  • Configure Objects, Fields, Workflows, Approval Processes, Rules, etc. as needed

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve user issues with the application and reduce the incidence of user-reported issues

  • Develop and maintain reliable and comprehensive reports and dashboards that help drive business decisions

  • Interface with for 2nd level support

  • Stay up to date on Salesforce new release features and benefits

  • Provide training documentation, FAQ sheets, and ad hoc training to Salesforce users as required, to help expand knowledge and adoption of Salesforce’s capabilities

Skills Required:

  • certification required (ADM 201)

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting, custom fields, triggers, and Salesforce workflows

  • Understanding of Salesforce technical requirements, system configuration, user requirements and all related policies and procedures

  • Minimum 3 years of administration experience

  • BS in a quantitative field preferred

  • Demonstrated success performing in a fast paced, dynamic and high volume environment

  • High attention to detail with a dedication to data integrity

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to communicate cross-functionally

  • Team player with collaborative approach, able to contribute to brainstorming sessions
