Reporting to the VP Product & Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for outbound marketing activities for Turn’s digital advertising platform products.  This will be an exciting and challenging role that puts you on the cutting edge of digital advertising technology.  Working as part of a cross-functional team you’ll be responsible for market intelligence, competitive intelligence, collaborating with Product Management to develop product strategy, overall go-to-market (GTM) planning, and the successful positioning and messaging for your products in market. 

Responsibilities:

  • Product strategy:  Collaborate with the Product Management team to develop the strategy and roadmap for new digital advertising products
  • Market intelligence:  Be Turn’s expert on your designated market segment – sizing the market, identifying who are the buyers, understanding how they buy and what are their buying criteria
  • Competitive intelligence:  Be Turn’s expert on your competitor’s products.  Analyzing how they position in market, what are their products and features, strengths and weaknesses, and projected strategy
  • Product messaging:  Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiate your products in market
  • Collateral development:  Communicate the value proposition of your products to the Sales, Account Management and Platform Solutions teams.  Develop the written and PowerPoint collateral that support the selling process of your products
  • Marketing program development:  Collaborate with Corporate Marketing to develop outbound programs that drive demand for your products
  • Go-To-Market project management:  Develop and drive the cross-functional Go-To-Market project plan for your products

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Marketing for CRM, Marketing Automation, Business Intelligence or Digital Advertising technologies, where your clients have been leading advertising agencies or Fortune 500 companies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • High degree of technical aptitude.  You’re already proficient with or can quickly learn how to discuss subjects like machine learning, data warehousing, DSP, DMP, RTB, API, ETL and a host of other three letter acronyms
  • Ability to translate sophisticated technological concepts into feature and benefit descriptions that will engage and motivate your target market
  • Strong PowerPoint authoring skills
  • Proven ability to participate in and influence cross-functional teams
  • Willing to travel up to 20% of time
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; MBA preferred
