As a member of Technical Operations, you’ll be part of the team responsible for ensuring that the Turn Platform is available, reliable, and fast, at all times.  The Operations team provides 24/7 oversight and support of the massive, globally distributed Internet-scale production infrastructure and services that power the heart of our business. You will have a chance to refine your understanding of system administration, work on automation tools and explore frameworks for deploying our services in a more secure and scalable way. We are working on a large scale data center deployment project and big data cluster this summer, which you will be exposed to.

This position can include data center design, performance tuning in the linux kernel and network stack, Hadoop cluster deployment and management, and most importantly, the automation, monitoring and alerting framework to keep everything running. Transparency through operational data visualization and high availability through constant dependable system improvement is a core competency.
