Platform engineering (runtime): Our runtime team is hiring software engineers to maintain and improve the critical distributed systems infrastructure that powers our business. This includes building scalable and fault-tolerant new components and maintaining and/or scaling the existing components to handle an increasing number of concurrent events per second (up to 1MM queries per second) with latencies in low milliseconds (<15 ms on average).

Platform engineering (data): Our data team is hiring software engineers to maintain and improve the critical data warehouse infrastructure that handles all data on our platform. This includes extending CQL (our query language for Hadoop), Hadoop/Pig/CQL programming, query optimization, efficient storage of a huge number of objects in high-dimensional attribute space, reporting over large scale and high-dimensional data, and real-time and file-based data ingestion.

Applied science: Our applied science team is hiring scientists and applied researchers (software engineers) to research, invent, design, build, and maintain our prediction, optimization, and analytics technology. This includes participating in cutting edge research, developing scalable prediction algorithms for highly sparse and skewed data, developing scalable forecasting algorithms for high dimensional data, large scale data mining, experimental design, dynamic control of systems and providing insights from big data.
