The HR Coordinator will fulfill a critical role on our growing Human Resources team. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day hands on administrative functions for the Human Resources Department. You will support the Turn HR team to build an exceptional employee experience while demonstrating Turn’s core values and projecting our company culture. 

Responsibilities:

  • Input data entry in HR systems including HRIS, Application Tracking and Onboarding systems
  • Support managers and employees with benefits administration, required compliance training, and employee on-boarding
  • Assist with payroll which includes communicating changes to payroll department in a timely manner
  • Process new hire paperwork
  • Manage the administration of benefit programs and liaise with benefits providers as needed
  • Create and maintain employee personnel, medical and benefits, maintain 1-9 files in accordance with company policies and legal compliance
  • Handle immigration cases, working closely with our immigration attorneys
  • Create monthly Power Point presentations for Company Meetings
  • Experience with designing Org Charts a plus
  • Plan and coordinate events including monthly birthday celebrations,  holiday and summer events
  • Provide assistance with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and coordinating meetings for human resources department
  • Assist with special events and/or projects such as annual benefits enrollment, employee recognition programs, etc. as needed
  • Provide backup support for new hire employee onboarding program including scheduling new hire training events, sending reminders, and compiling materials as needed
  • Provide backup for scheduling candidate interviews and manage onsite interview process as needed
  • Support HR strategies that result in increased employee engagement and enriching Turn’s culture

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact effectively as a team member and work collaboratively with other departments
  • Ability to listen to employees/managers and to understand and respond positively to their requests
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and great at multi-tasking
  • Understanding of confidentiality at all times
