Advertising and Demand Generation Manager

As a member of the Global Marketing team, the Advertising and Demand Generation Manager will be responsible for using branding and direct response approaches to achieve the highest return on investment possible from Turn’s online and offline media channels: print and digital advertising, trade shows, webinars, virtual events, SEM, email, sponsorships, and direct marketing activities.



  • Align goals and objectives to overall corporate strategy, initiatives, products, and programs
  • Develops integrated and comprehensive advertising and direct marketing plans to support the company’s revenue objectives
  • Built and maintain a closed loop marketing operations infrastructure with systems like, Omniture, and Eloquas
  • Create and manage online advertising campaigns, including agency relationships, program optimization and analysis.
  • Execute lead scoring and nurturing programs
  • Target, segment and profile prospects and customers
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive social and digital media strategy to build thought leadership and connections with prospects and influencers
  • Prepare and deliver program reviews, provide executive summaries, influence and educate executive management as required
  • Manage budgets effectively


  • 5+ years of experience running online advertising and direct marketing campaigns, including creative development experience, preferable with a SAAS company
  • Advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing automation, demand generation, and rules-based lead nurturing
  • Strong analytic capability with response analysis experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with multiple formats of demand generation, including, but not limited to email, website, PPC, SEO, Social, direct mail, and telemarketing
  • Experience with database management functions, including list management, cleansing, de-duplication, data validation, segmentation, tagging, custom report creation and import/export of CRM data
  • Strong knowledge of B2B marketing, software-as-a-service, and the digital advertising industries
  • Innovative thinker with creative problem-solving abilities
  • Proven track record in project management, and the ability to rapidly shift priorities based upon marketplace demand.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including experience presenting to executives, preparing briefings for industry analysts, and speaking with the media
  • Experience managing marketing process for offline, direct, interactive, and social channels as well as selling through multiple channels, including direct sales and resellers
  • Demonstrated success in working within cross functional teams and effective project management and analytical/decision-making skills
  • Self-starter, high-energy, with ability to execute on business objectives
  • Strong teamwork and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to multitask, change priorities rapidly and work under pressure
