As a member of Turn's Client Services team, the Account Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing a trading desk specialized to meet the needs of a large consumer packaged goods (CPG) advertising portfolio.  The Account Manager will play an integral role in developing trading desk best practices including campaign design, execution, reporting, and optimization.  The Account Manager will also closely collaborate with Turn's Sales, Business Development, Product Management and Engineering teams to deliver best in class solutions custom tailored to meet CPG advertising objectives.  In addition, the Account Manager will be responsible for educating a diverse set of CPG brand teams about all aspects of Turn's next generation tools and how they can be leveraged to solve their goals and objectives.

The Account Manager will be responsible for successful trading desk operations focused on CPG clients by proactively:

  • Building and owning client relationships across diverse CPG brand teams
  • Managing campaign pipeline to ensure flawless setup and launch
  • Monitoring and communicating campaign performance and delivery
  • Leveraging data to develop and deploy customized CPG campaign best practices
  • Working cross functionally to identify and implement CPG-specific advertising solutions

Required Skills:

  • Client management experience, including proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with tight deadlines
  • Proven leadership in pre- and post-sales activities to translate customers’ requirements into actionable execution plans
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow large media budgets through flawless execution and up-sell
  • Technical and analytical troubleshooting skills, with creative ability to overcome challenges
  • Experience with data-driven test-and-learn approach for developing campaign optimization techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deep understanding of ad serving technologies, exchange-based media buying, and third party data ecosystem
  • Emphatic interest in online advertising and technology

Preferred Skills:

  • Client-facing Ad Agency / Publisher / Ad Network / Advertising Technology Vendor / Technical Engineering or Account Management experience in the digital marketing space
  • Experience with online ad serving systems and self-service media buying platforms a major plus
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including experience in Excel and SQL

Desired Education:

  • 3-5 years experience in Account Management in digital or online advertising preferred
  • BA/BS degree with a strong academic record
