The DMP Account Executive will be responsible for blazing a trail in one of the fastest growing segments of digital marketing. This will be the first DMP sales hire at Turn. This is a chance to change how marketers think about running every aspect of their business with the power and confidence of an industry leading tech stack behind you. This person has full reign over North America to hunt and grow a business in a multi-billion dollar market. Data Management is now a top priority for brands and is increasingly the most important aspect of a CMO's budgets moving forward. This is an opportunity to get in front of some of the world’s most prominent brands and marketers and help them transition into fully data driven marketing strategy.

The DMP Account Executive position will be responsible for building a pipeline and securing market leading advertiser and agency enterprise level relationships across the US. This will require focus and knowing when to say no. The AE will take responsibility for managing and advocating a book of business consisting of existing and prospective Fortune 200 accounts, within a named account list. You will work as part of a particularly experienced and effective team to grow Turn’s strategic client relationships, with particular emphasis in areas that are important to programmatic and marketing, including DMP and Analytics solutions.  

The Account Executive will work directly with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Product Consulting, Business Development, and Product teams to find opportunities, strategize, and close new business.


  • Be your own small business CEO and love all that comes with it

  • Build strong and supportive relationships with IT/Analytics/Marketing/Procurement leads at major brands and agencies.

  • Frequent travel and excited about the idea of building a business in major advertising markets across the country

  • Hunts for new opportunities, shepherds the RFP process, and owns deals through to completion while leveraging SE’s and others for technical and strategic support

  • Work very close with cross functional teams to accomplish a shared goal of helping brands transform how they think about digital marketing

  • Performs well under pressure and ready to hit the ground running with strong support from sales leadership and being one level removed from the CRO

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years online digital advertising/marketing experience

  • Strong consultative sales skills, relationship building, and client management skills.

  • Strong collaborator, ability to excel on a small team with potential for rapid growth

  • Proven track record with large agencies and direct clients—past success and established relationships.

  • Existing knowledge of DSP or DMP space, ad serving, data exchanges or performance advertising is preferred but not a requirement.

  • Scrappy, self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication and presentation skills

  • The curiosity to become an expert in your industry - keep up with the latest news and happenings in the digital marketing and DMP landscape.

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years online digital advertising/marketing experience

  • Demonstrable track record in developing relationships with direct advertisers and/or advertising agencies.

  • Strong industry relationships across publishers, agencies, tech partners and clients

  • Strong understanding of online advertising or marketing technologies and landscape trends.

  • Deep experience managing enterprise level software deals and deployments
