Customer Social Media Strategist

True Anthem is a VC-backed AI software company that has pioneered the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to help digital publishers intelligently automate and optimize the sharing of content to social media platforms. As a member of the Customer Experience team, you will report to the Senior Customer Strategist. You’ll be responsible for creating social media strategies that drive traffic growth with our software and establishing social media best practices for customers. Through your impact, you will be transforming True Anthem into the leading social media center-of-excellence for publishers. You will also play a crucial role in building the future of our customer experience.

The role requires prior experience in a social strategy / audience development role.


  • Translating customer needs into actionable strategies and AI guidance

  • Analyze social performance to find executable tactics for traffic growth

  • Analyze content performance to find editorial opportunities for growth

  • Identify trends in data, stay up-to-date on industry trends, and be able to speak about these trends to stakeholders

  • Write thorough tickets and requests for internal Support team to implement

  • Effectively communicate and educate customers through a variety of media to earn customer trust and buy-in

  • Ability to receive customer feedback, troubleshoot, and translate into an actionable plan

  • Willingness to learn True Anthem’s product offering, inside and out

  • Collaborate closely with internal, cross functional teams including Customer Success Management, Customer Success Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams

  • Create processes that optimize the customer experience

  • Maintain a positive attitude & professionalism at all times


  • At least 4 years experience in a social strategy / audience development role or another relevant field (preferably for a media organization)

  • BA/BS degree required preferably in Marketing/PR, Communications, Journalism, English or another related field

  • Commanding knowledge of various social media platforms (ex. Facebook, Instagram, X (formally Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, Youtube, Threads, TikTok) and a willingness to learn emerging platforms

  • Proficient with and enthusiasm for analytics tools (from web - Google Analytics, Adobe, etc; from social media - Meta Business Suite, Pinterest Analytics, Keyhole, etc) to create reports, translate into insights, and speak to the actionable narrative

  • Deep understanding of the digital media landscape and marketing, sales and/or customer success industries

  • Experience building and fostering strong stakeholder relationships

  • Efficient time management skills - ability to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Established project management and communication skills with a proven track record of articulating social strategy that drives results

  • Self-motivated with the desire and ability to learn + adapt quickly

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and phone communication skills, with the ability to adapt conversations for technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to teach and learn from other team members

  • Technical skills required, as they relate to the use, understanding, and advocacy of True Anthem’s product/services

  • Web/tech savvy a must - particularly proficient in Google Suite of programs (Document, Slides, Spreadsheets) and/or Excel.
