Senior Security Technician

We are looking for a skilled Senior Security Technician with strong experience in surveillance, access control, and intrusion systems. This is a great opportunity for a lead-level field technician who takes pride in clean installations, strong troubleshooting, and getting the job done right.

What You’ll Do:

• Install, service, and troubleshooting CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems
• Pull, terminate, label, and test low voltage cabling
• Install cameras, card readers, door devices, panels, and related security equipment
• Read drawings, wiring diagrams, and project plans
• Perform system startup, testing, and commissioning
• Troubleshoot field issues and help keep projects moving
• Support and lead junior technicians as needed
• Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and customers on site
• Complete basic job documentation, maintain a professional work area, and follow company safety protocols

What We’re Looking For:

• 1 - 5 years of hands-on experience with commercial security systems
• Proven knowledge of CCTV, access control, and intrusion installation/service
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
• Ability to travel locally to job sites on a regular basis; occasional overnight travel is required
• Experience reading blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Professional communication and strong work ethics
• Valid driver’s license
• TWIC Card

Preferred:

• Manufacturer certifications
• OSHA or other safety training
• Experience with IP-based systems and basic networking

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and work in field conditions including standing, bending, and climbing ladders as needed.
