About the Position
As the right hand to our Cigar Director, you’ll play a key role in the daily operations of our cigar department and lounge. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining humidors and ensuring cigars are properly stored, rotated, and displayed
- Assisting with merchandising, inventory audits, and vendor coordination
- Providing personalized recommendations and educating customers on cigar selections, pairings, and accessories
- Staying sharp on cigar brands, blends, formats, and industry trends
- Supporting in-store events, promotions, and vendor visits
- Keeping displays clean, stocked, and visually appealing
- Assisting customers throughout the store and lounge with top-tier service
- Operating the register and completing transactions accurately
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Director or store management
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings both passion and professionalism to the table:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 1+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service (cigar/tobacco knowledge is a plus)
- A genuine enthusiasm for cigars and a hunger to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
