Patient Care and Treatment Coordinator

Administration | Tucson, AZ | Full Time and Contract | From $17.00 to $19.00 per hour

Our nationally accredited team is currently seeking a treatment coordinator to provide administrative support and care collaboration to current and future clients and their families!

Flexible compensation options to choose from:

  • Hourly employee (benefits included) at $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
  • 1099 Contracted (benefits not included) at $22+ per hour

What you'll do at work:

  • Meet with clients and their families in person and via secure platforms to schedule first appointments and review and establish financial agreements
  • Answer client questions about treatment options, accounts, and balances
  • Communicate with a variety of other healthcare partners (healthcare providers, hospitals, insurance representatives) to coordinate seamless referrals for treatment
  • Track and follow-up on incomplete documents and financial agreements by phone, email, and secure text messaging
  • Track and follow-up on client attendance and absence from group-based services
  • Contact insurance plans and perform eligibility verifications and authorizations for care

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting preferred
  • Experience working with an electronic healthcare record (EHR) preferred
  • Strong basic computing skills with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel)
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, ability to work well with frequent interruptions, and ability to communicate with a variety of others in a manner that is direct, clear, courteous, and tactful in person, by phone, and by email
  • Provide current level one fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and renew as applicable.
  • Continuously maintain active Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
