Community Outreach Specialist
Administration | Houston, TX | Full Time | From $60,000 to $65,000 per year
Our nationally accredited team is currently seeking a Community Outreach Specialist for our Mental Health Facilities in Texas to support engagement efforts and build strong relationships within the community! This position focuses on connecting with local organizations, schools, and partners to promote access to behavioral health services and increase visibility of our programs!

Your Role:
- Assist in developing and executing community outreach strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Represent the organization at community events, fairs, networking functions, and presentations.
- Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and other community partners.
- Manage social media platforms and content, including coordinating event promotion and highlighting community partnerships.
- Gather community feedback and report insights that can inform program development and communication strategies.
- Support the distribution of marketing materials across various community channels and locations.
- Maintain records of outreach activities, contacts and impact metrics.
- Ensure messages align with the organization’s mission, values and tone.
Qualifications:
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs.
- Provide current level 1 fingerprint clearance card issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and renew as applicable, ensuring continuous coverage.
- Continuously maintain active Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certification if working in an office setting.
- Bachelors Degree or experience in related field.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to outreach events across the region
