Yummly, Inc., a subsidiary of Whirlpool Corporation, is looking for a driven Senior Growth Product Manager to focus on monetization and subscription funnel optimization, who craves results and thrives on making things happen. This role is not a marketer. This is a product manager who is focused on delivering quantifiable business outcomes for Subscription & Paywall conversion at speed through the establishment of a rapid experimentation platform. 

Responsibilities:

  • As the Senior Growth Product Manager, you will:
    • Be responsible for converting the subscription product funnel from new user acquisition leads.
      • Create a high-functioning rapid experiment engine of build, test, learn, iterate via a series of goal-driven short-term incremental experiments.
      • Continuously prioritize the rapid experiment engine’s execution by identifying high-potential opportunities for innovation and increased efficiencies to maximize business impact. 
      • Actively collaborate and ideate with other stakeholders on audience retention and expansion.
      • Stay on the bleeding edge of trends in growth user experience, methods, and technologies that could unlock metrics growth or funnel efficiencies.
      • Deeply connected to the growth marketing communities to get non-competitive benchmark numbers to inform impact estimates, high priority initiatives, etc. 
    • Lead a full stack development team in driving business outcomes for personally owned Subscription & Paywall funnel optimization efforts - as well as on behalf of SEO, Lifecycle, Marketing, Hardware Commerce efforts.
    • Be responsible for specifying and prioritizing engineering requests from SEO, Lifecycle, Marketing, Hardware eCommerce based on their alignment to growth goal requirements for Subscription. 
    • Collaborate with engineering to get design work planned into development roadmaps for execution.
    • Mentor and coach other PMs & pods on product funnel optimization but primarily focus on execution for Subscription & Paywall conversion.
  • Please note: This role does not require direct or deep experience with SEO, Lifecycle, Paid. The focus is on the optimization of the funnel and managing underlying technologies.

Requirements:

  • Several years of growth product management experience.
    • Proven history of impactfully using trials and paywalls, gamification, and human psychology to drive acquisition with low or no touch sales channels. 
    • Must have examples of well-designed rapid pace experiment and analysis programs in B2C that drove clear business results and funnel point optimization.
  • Well versed in the following categories of tools:
    • Analytics and data visualization
    • A/B testing and performance optimization tools
    • Basic project management for owned execution work
    • Specification and requirements communication tools
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in e-commerce or digital marketplace companies.
  • Passion for food.

Due to COVID-19, we are all working at home at the moment and will remain flexible through mid-year 2021. In the meantime, we are planning and implementing high-level safety protocols for working in the office when the time comes.
