Redwood City, CA

Together Labs (formerly IMVU) is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to drive projects, move teams forward, and keep teams accountable for deliverables. This person will work closely with Engineering leads, Developers, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects according to company goals. The Project Manager is an integral role to ensure IT and Operations teams continue to facilitate our company success and deliver on our commitments while keeping in mind best practices and process improvements.


  • Manage concurrent IT and Operations projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Create appropriate project plans and schedules to support company infrastructure and product delivery while meeting overall business objectives

  • Identify cross-functional (e.g. Engineering, QA, Product) dependencies and collaborate with other project management teams to resolve them

  • Follow and/or scale company‚Äôs established project management processes to improve team efficiency and synergy with dependent teams

  • Track progress, identify issues, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle

  • Communicate plans, status, issues, and changes to stakeholders

  • Generate timely and accurate status reports and project updates to be communicated throughout the organization

  • Facilitate meetings, drive team participation and group decisions

  • Balance limited resources and prioritize with an ROI-focused mindset

  • Lead by example to create and nurture collaboration, communication and team excellence


  • 3+ years experience managing internal development teams, roadmaps or projects within a B2C, internet, social or gaming industries

  • Understands Software Development Life Cycle, both waterfall and Agile

  • Exhibits strong problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Results and detail-oriented and has the ability to get things done in a fluid and fast-paced environment

  • Highly motivated, a self-starter, creative, and all-around smart thinker

  • Able to work well on a cross functional team

  • Able to get along, motivate, and build relationships with team members of different personality types

  • Capable of balancing time effectively across many different tasks while not losing track of details or falling behind on deadlines

  • IT or Ops experience is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid reporting and documentation skills

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies

  • Extensive knowledge with JIRA administration

  • Experience using Trello, Confluence, Zeplin, Figma, Google Suite, Slack, Zoom

  • PMP, PMI, Certified Scrum Master, ACP desired
