Yardi Reporting & Technical Analyst

Job Description

Thompson Thrift is seeking to hire a Full-Time Yardi Reporting & Technical Analyst to join our team. As the Yardi Reporting & Technical Analyst, you will provide end user support, write Yardi SQL report, and act as a subject matter expert for all Yardi applications. You will also serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned Yardi projects. In this position, you will work closely with employees from all Thompson Thrift divisions.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a subject matter expert for all Yardi applications licensed by Thompson Thrift.
  • Works with internal customers to write Yardi SQL reports.
  • Ensures the back-end system setup of users, workflows, and functions that support business processes are functioning properly.
  • Provides second tier level user support for team members that use Yardi software and resolves helpdesk tickets to ensure internal customer satisfaction.
  • Works with the Director of Business Systems to ensure Yardi features/functions meet Thompson Thrift business processes and new Yardi implementations.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of assigned department projects.
  • Evaluates and audits all system settings and tasks.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • SQL Report Writing Certification.
  • Residential or Commercial Property Management experience.


Background/ Experience:

  • Associates degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or equivalent education.
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Yardi Administrator or Super User.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and write Yardi YSR and/or SQL reports.
  • Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of Yardi applications used in the organization and the industry.
  • Intermediate / Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications for email, networking, and business processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage Service Desk responsibilities and multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines.
