About the position:

NOM is looking for a highly motivated, solution-oriented Sales Planner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent presentation creation skills, PowerPoint skills,  and writing abilities as they will be required to communicate eloquently about NOM’s services and product offerings.  A crucial part of being a successful sales planner is gaining insight into customer needs and experiences. You know that numbers matter and can see the stories within data, but also know how to translate metrics into client-friendly insights and analysis. You must possess the ability to create visually clear presentations, combining data and storytelling. You would work with teams across sales, marketing, ops, as well as senior executives. In this role you will report directly to the Head of Sales.

Who you are:

  • Digital media or agency experience preferred
  • B.A./B.S. or substantial relevant experience
  • Storytelling & PowerPoint skills required

Responsibilities include: 

  • Facilitate the workflow, schedule/assign and manage pitch/proposal and campaign support projects
  • Assist in, review and/or produce thoughtful, creative and goal oriented presentations, proposals and media plans to premium brands and advertisers
  • Participate in RFP Strategy sessions with sales on select new business opportunities, recommending ideas and campaign strategies to meet campaign objectives and success metrics
  • Act as a resource for all proposals, managing for sales rep access; catalog and sharing best examples
  • Become an expert at leveraging internal and external sales tools; train new sales reps on sales tools
  • Act as campaign support resource including reporting, campaign review charts & screenshots
  • Support sales team in pre-sales efforts including, but not limited to; research, competitive analysis, inventory confirmation, and preparation of media plans/proposals
  • Ensure client and sales vendor issues are resolved efficiently
  • Provide weekly reporting to management; including account updates, client feedback, retention status, and other as needed
  • Stay current with developments in online advertising, advertising technology, and online media. Research, capture and share competitive market info
  • Utilize a working knowledge of the company's suite of products and services to retain existing clients and encourage new business
  • Team with sales and accounts receivable departments to ensure billing accuracy and assist in revenue reporting
  • Work overtime if needed
