Agency Technology Specialist & Practice Development Specialist

Reporting to: Head of Advisor Services

As an Agency Technology Specialist & Practice Development Specialist, you will spearhead the integration, adoption, and optimization of cutting-edge business technology tools designed to elevate advisor performance. You'll work closely with firm leadership, advisors, and support teams to streamline operations, maximize productivity, and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Strategic Consulting: Collaborate with firm leadership to define, leverage, and promote firm-wide technology goals that enhance business performance.
  • Department Budgeting: Understand budgeting and costs associated with your area and find efficiencies, without shortcuts and keep leadership aware oof expenses and/or likely costs by anticipating needs.
  • Advisor Support & Optimization: Guide advisors in setting and achieving their business technology goals to scale and optimize their practice. Update the Technology Handbook monthly and share with Head of Advisor Services.
  • Productivity & Growth Solutions: Proactively identify, evaluate, and implement technology-driven solutions to boost operational efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Training & Adoption: Serve as the go-to expert for business technology tools, leading training initiatives and driving adoption across the firm.
  • Onboarding & Development: Partner with Market Director(s) to introduce and integrate technology tools for new advisors.
  • Technology Mastery & Support: Stay ahead of emerging business technologies and provide expert-level support for A360, Global Relay, and Zoom phone and Zoom AI technology, and other provided programs.
  • Hardware & Software Support: Manage phone systems, provide end-user desktop support, and oversee hardware imaging and deployment using Microsoft Intune.
  • Help Desk & IT Coordination: Respond professionally to IT service requests, escalate issues when needed, and ensure seamless functionality of software and hardware, including MS Office, Salesforce, SharePoint, ERP systems, and virtual conferencing platforms.
  • Network & Server Maintenance: Assist staff with installations, backups, Windows updates, and security policy enforcement.
  • Process Improvement: Diagnose problems, recommend solutions, and develop strategies to enhance technology adoption and business efficiencies.
  • Compliance & Security: Maintain standard operating procedures, follow change management protocols, and enforce security policies in a timely manner.
  • Periodic Front Desk Coverage: Energy to engage with and greet guests and clients.
  • Communicate Effectively: Relay home office initiatives with leadership and the agency in advance of implementation.

  • A Microsoft Office Pro: Skilled in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The Details:

  • Location: Denver, CO (In-office role)
  • Hours: 20 – 40 per Week.
  • Availability: Candidate must be available Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Hourly Compensation: $25.00 to $28.85 (based on experience and education)
