Job Description

Therm-x of California is the leading manufacturer of advanced temperature and control systems for high technology industries. The markets we serve include semiconductor and electronics, alternative energy, medical/biotech, defense/aerospace, petrochemical, and food/beverage. Accountant will be responsible for various financial related activities such as management of accounts payable, bank reconciliations, review entries for accuracy, analyzing reports and submitting required documentation as it relates to compliance to banks and other compliance related matters.   Prepare reports for multiple divisions.


  • Asset, liability and capital account entries

  • Report and analyze various account information

  • Responsible for tracking, documentation, reporting and audit of various financial transactions

  • Ability to provide analytic insights on various financial aspects

  • Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other general ledger reports

  • Reconciliation of discrepancies

  • Adheres to accounting controls and audits

  • Verification of documentation and issues payments for disbursements

  • Provides internal control of various accounting data and ensure accuracy


  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task and handle heavy workload

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of work

  • 4 year college degree in Accounting or equivalent

  • 7 years or more of related experience; Knowledge of standard accounting tools

  • Common knowledge of industry concepts; adheres to various federal, state and local accounting or financial regulations; provides recommendation on compliance related matters
