Job Summary

This role will lead the relationship with a number of clients within the sports/lifestyle industry, across a variety of client services such as branded content production, media rights advisory, digital marketing campaign management, data insights and overall digital strategy consulting. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on building relationships, and executes with the client as the top priority. You should have relevant experience working in the digital marketing space, ideally working on strategic integrated brand marketing and digital/social media campaigns with large brands/properties. An understanding of the sports marketing/sponsorship space is a major plus. You should have a high-level ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and make decisions. Most importantly, you should be curious to learn and be willing to put yourself in uncomfortable positions, constantly striving to push the boundaries of what is possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to develop and deliver on their goals and strategies, adding strategic value and ensuring that they get the best results possible

  • Become an expert in TPG’s service offerings, being hands-on in specific areas and understanding how to leverage the skills of the TPG team to execute the needs of the client.

  • Display powerful communication and presentation skills that invite participation and effect desired outcomes

  • Ensure work is client-ready by paying astute attention to detail

  • Identify areas of unlocking additional value with current clients as well as new business opportunities with new clients

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3+ years of related client services experience in a digital/social capacity, preferably integrated marketing, content, strategy, video production, agency, media or direct marketing experience

  • Must be self-directed and able to work independently

  • Must be flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and within company as a whole

  • Successful client manager with an ability to build relationships and drive results

  • Holistic understanding of sports business to act as consultant for clients

  • Proven digital and social media skills, with knowledge of the nuances of multi-platform content distribution

  • Strong understanding of branded content strategy and the full process from ideation through to production and distribution

  • Experienced with digital metrics and turning raw data into actionable insights for clients

  • Able to work well under pressure

  • Willing to wear multiple hats, able to deliver high-quality results in an ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment

  • High energy with a willingness to work during non-standard business hours when necessary
