Head of Incubator Program (Startup Innovation Labs)

Join the first On-Demand Venture Capital Fund in Silicon Valley, and be part of next generation VC, "i.e., Sequoia + Goldman Sachs + Pivotal Labs combined". Located at Stanford Research Park and reporting directly to the CEO; you will be responsible for formulating and leading our portfolio global strategy and execution. Success in this position will be measured by the creation of long term shareholder value through our execution roadmap.

The primary objectives include:

  • Grow our Startup Labs Program with Global Fortune 500 Innovation groups
  • Develop strategic alliance and IP strategies with our Startup Portfolio and Top Universities
  • Nurture deep relationship with top Innovation Centers partners and top Tech consulting firms.
  • Initiate and execute NPI (New Product Introduction) among our Corporate clients, portfolio startups, IP partners and scale from POC (Proof of concept) using our Global Tech Labs 

Experience, skills, and knowledge required
------------------------------------------

  • An outstanding performer with years of experience in Consumer and Enterprise Software Development, R&D or CIO office at a top tier tech firms, consulting firm, or top accelerators / incubators.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the strategic alliance and tech labs process for opportunities focused on emerging technology spaces that align with corporate clients focus. The ideal candidate will have managed transactions that range in size and complexity; proven ability to drive from start to finish (or know when to walk away from a deal)
  • Expert level knowledge of product development, G2M and system architecture as well as SOW / RFP / PMO
  • Strong ability to think strategically and direct others in solving complex business problems under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong writing and the ability to create top-notch presentations and materials that provide business insight that is relevant and digestible to executive decision makers
  • Proven ability to lead, recruit, retain and mentor high performing teams
  • Aggressive yet regarded as ethical and fair in the industry. Confident but not arrogant
  • PhD, MS or higher from top engineering school is preferred, along large silicon valley network
  • Startup and Corporate exposure is a must across the emerging tech space

Note: You will be working from Stanford Research Park in Palo Alto. Stanford Graduate with local tech network is a plus but not a must
