After launching in 2015, The NOW quickly became LA’s hottest wellness destination for globe trotting influencers and locals alike. Four boutiques later, we have embarked on a national franchise expansion and are looking forward to bringing our thoughtfully crafted menu with customizable enhancements, healing products and singular design aesthetic to cities all over the United States.
Manage demand planning, component purchasing process, and inventory levels to maximize supply chain responsiveness for product reorders
Manage the purchasing process from the request for proposal (RFP) stage through delivery
Track & oversee all artwork approvals, label claims, regulatory compliance for new and existing product offerings
Execute all phases of product development, from conceptualization to launch, by maintaining 3rd party vendor relationships across packaging, production, and fulfillment
Ensure and maintain data integrity through all relevant systems to accurately track inventory and capture cost of goods
Establish and maintain measurable performance metrics for all levels of purchasing activities to include, but not limited to, supplier performance, internal order placement performance, cost savings based on purchase variation, and material shortage elimination
Understand MOQ, LT, historical demand, trend, and future strategic information that impacts the forecast to support business needs
Develop negotiation strategies and participate in negotiations with vendors on price, delivery, terms, etc. to showcase maximum cost avoidance and deliver maximum value, leverage, and standardization
Create ROI and cost analysis for implementation of initiatives and expenditures to improve processes
Survey the competitive landscape and identify trends in skincare, hair care and beauty
Manage the ingredient selection process with internal teams by working with several R&D labs to incorporate into products as necessary, source specialized raw materials with vendors for formulation to meet specific product standards
Identify and report any quality concerns and take immediate corrective action
Review and analyze processes to reduce waste and errors
Ad-hoc duties as requested
Must be willing to communicate with China during evening hours as needed
