About This Role
Retail Support Associates are responsible for all of the processes that ensure our customers quickly receive a perfectly fulfilled retail order. This role is responsible for picking, scanning and packing incoming orders for Apothecarium across all retail shopping channels. They will also work with Customer Care Consultants and Inventory Assistants to ensure products are fully stocked and available for fulfillment .
Ability to communicate with other team members in all situations
Ability to identify cannabis products across multiple product categories and product variants
Ability to maintain high standards in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment
Ability to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently
Possess a high level of organization, patience, and flexibility
Basic math skills for Point of Sale (POS) system
Basic computer and information technology skills
Experience working in the cannabis industry highly desirable
Experience working in retail & customer service experience highly desirable
Experience working in medical services/health & wellness industry highly desirable
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately fulfill orders from inventory and prepare for sale via online and in store ordering
Inspect product packaging for defects and matching batches
Scan orders using Point of Sale (POS) system and verify orders with online ordering system
Ensure strict controls to protect Dispensary assets at the direction of management
Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping
Communicate restocking and product needs to inventory assistants as needed
Maintain inventory control standards on the retail floor
Frequently maintain cleanliness, dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, and sanitization of dispensary
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including occasional evenings, weekends and some holidays to meet the needs of the business
Must be authorized to work in the U.S., be at least 21 years old and must pass a criminal background check
Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect
Maintains strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Maintain attention and adherence to cannabis retail operation compliance as outlined by the state of California, local municipalities and under the direction of store leadership
Perform other related work as required
