The Apothecarium, founded in 2011, is a full-service medical and recreational cannabis dispensary with three California locations in San Francisco, and new dispensaries in Berkeley and Capitola opening in 2020. Las Vegas, Pennsylvania and New Jersey are also home to The Apothecarium dispensaries.

About This Role
Delivery Team Members are responsible for executing that same high level of customer service and compassionate care outside our dispensary walls as our retail staff provide within our stores. Delivery Team Members must love navigating the busy streets of San Francisco and the East Bay while representing The Apothecarium in a professional manner.
Basic Qualifications
Prior delivery experience (1 year)
Prior customer service experience (1 year)
Must be at least 21 years old
Following a conditional offer, a motor vehicle record check will be conducted on all final job candidates for whom driving a motor vehicle is an essential job function.
Applicants may be required to take a background check after a conditional offer is made. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Must be authorized to live and work in the U.S
Preferred Qualifications
Previous delivery experience in San Francisco or the East Bay highly desirable
Experience working in the cannabis industry highly desirable
Experience working in retail & customer service experience highly desirable
Experience working in the health & wellness industry highly desirable
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Drive and deliver products from The Apothecarium to customers in the South Bay and Santa Cruz area
Obey all local, state and federal traffic and driving laws
Adhere to routing guidelines and parameters to deliver according to schedule and Bureau of Cannabis Control requirements
Address and resolve customer complaints; escalate service issues in an expedient manner
Obtain payment for products by accepting cash or debit cards
Assist in opening and closing delivery order processing areas daily
Process, package and label orders in preparation for delivery
Maintain delivery manifests and required Bureau of Cannabis Control documentation
Provide excellent customer service
Maintain accurate delivery documentation
Assist with the cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of delivery dispatch location
Maintain iOS devices and other necessary hardware
Communicate professionally and regularly with dispatch location Team Members and Delivery Manager
Facilitate communication to our delivery members via iOS devices
Maintain strict confidentiality with customer information

Work Environment
Works primarily in employer provided vehicle, and occasionally in a busy retail environment. Execute deliveries in San Francisco and the East Bay using a company vehicle amidst traffic, pedestrians, construction, etc.
Physical Requirements
Must sit and stand constantly; walk frequently; reach and twist/turn with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Ability and license to operate a motor vehicle, follow all traffic laws, read and comprehend traffic signs
Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus
