Position Summary

The Production Cook is reliable, honest, hardworking, and who takes pride in the quality of their work. The production Cook will be responsible for crafting quality THC infused edibles, maintaining equipment, packaging product and adhering to all California State Regulations.

Specific responsibilities included, but not limited to:

● Employees must adhere to all operational standards and guidelines, including food quality and

safety, individual and team safety, as well as cleanliness and sanitation.

● Must follow previously established SOP’s for cooking all products manufactured in the kitchen.

● Maintaining and updating all SOP’s for ingredient preparation

● Must adhere to all Company policies and procedures

● Keep assigned areas clean

● Assemble, maintain, clean and store cooking equipment for daily business

● Work alongside fellow kitchen crew to meet daily goals

● Monitor product prep and cook times, as well as temperatures to ensure consistency

● Complete all required record keeping including but not limited to food logs, waste sheets, and

cleaning logs

● Assist in the packaging and quality control of all products.

● Label everything according to the batch ticket assigned

● Successfully complete applicable shift responsibilities and other duties as assigned by the

manager on duty

● Communicate with and treat others respectfully at all times

● Minimum age of 21 years

● Able to stand for 8 plus hours

● Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.

● Able to accurately calculate THC content formulations.

● Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

● Strong attention to detail; able to consistently follow directions, standards and recipes

● Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices

● Strong decision-making skills

● Able to work in an environment that may contain strong odors

● Prior food preparation experience (Preferred)

Other Skills and Qualifications

Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills in order to manage the diverse tasks and

interact with the varied constituencies involved in the organization.

Computer Skills

Proficient in Excel, Word, Google Interface, other software applications.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

  • Obtain any required California mandated certifications, including but limited to OSHA 30 and Food Handlers certifications

Travel Requirements

Must have reliable transportation and be available to travel to various locations if needed. Travel may

be required on a local, regional, or national level for Production activities and or to attend

conferences/workshops related to the organization.

is regularly required to walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required

to stoop. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Prolonged sitting or

standing may be required, 8 hours plus. Those physical movements and the degree of mobility

normally associated with production will be performed on a repetitive basis. The ability to distinguish
