Now Seeking Delivery Drivers: 

We are looking for professional and efficient Delivery Drivers to serve all San Francisco members and neighborhoods. The Apothecarium is a professional medical cannabis dispensary with a national reputation for excellence. Our Delivery Drivers are responsible for executing that same high level of customer service and compassionate care outside our dispensary walls. Delivery drivers must love navigating the busy streets of San Francisco while representing The Apothecarium in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and deliver products from The Apothecarium to patients in San Francisco

  • Obey all local, state and federal traffic and driving laws

  • Adhere to routing guidelines and parameters to deliver according to schedule

  • Prepare delivery vehicle for operation by inspecting general condition; check vehicle for damage and communicate any concerns to your supervisor

  • Address and resolve patient complaints; escalate service issues in an expedient manner

  • Obtain payment for product by accepting money orders or credit cards and making deposits at HHC designated banking facilities

  • Review and maintains licenses and permits, member paperwork to ensure legal compliance

  • Assist in opening and closing delivery order processing areas daily

  • Process, package and label orders in preparation for delivery

  • Provide excellent patient service

  • Maintain an accurate delivery and tip log

  • Assist with the cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of delivery vehicles

  • Maintain iOS devices and audio-visual equipment

  • Communicate regularly with Inventory Assistants about inventory needs

  • Facilitate communication to our delivery members via iOS devices

  • Maintain strict confidentiality with patient information

Requirements:

  • Prior delivery experience (1 year)

  • Prior customer service experience (1 year)

  • Experience working in the medical cannabis industry highly desirable

  • Experience working in the health & wellness industry highly desirable

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record

  • Must have a Medical Cannabis Recommendation

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

  • Must be authorized to live and work int he U.S.

  • Must be available, nights, weekends and [some] holidays

Physical Requirements:

  • Must sit and stand constantly; walk frequently; reach and twist/turn with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

  • Ability and license to operate a motor vehicle, follow all traffic laws, read and comprehend traffic signs

  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus

Work Environment:

  • Works primarily in a company vehicle, and occasionally in a busy retail environment.  Execute deliveries in San Francisco using a company vehicle amidst traffic, pedestrians, construction, etc.  

Bonus Points:

 

  • Previous delivery experience in SF

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Knowledgeable on strains, genetics, cultivation, and effects of cannabis and medication

  • Demonstrated passion for serving the medical cannabis community and local neighborhoods
