Paint Line Worker

Due a recent departure, our Paint Line team is short-handed and we need help to keep up with our production goals. The Paint Line Worker position is hourly with benefits that include Blue Cross/Blue Shield medical, plus dental and vision options, paid holidays, earned vacation and a 401k plan with an employer match. The team works 10-hour shifts Tuesday through Friday with shift start at 5 AM.

The Paint Line is the last stage of production before our cylinders are shipped to customers. Paint Line workers are responsible for the last stages of the process to include preparing cylinders for transport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.   Other duties may be assigned.   

  • Apply rust preventative to bare metal surfaces.
  • Clean over-sprayed paint from bushings.
  • Use bander to strap cylinder to pallet.
  • Use saw to cut wood to create pallets.
  • Use manipulator to place cylinders on pallet.
  • Load and move materials to work area.
  • Replace screens and filters.
  • Push painted articles to and from drying oven.
  • Clean work area.
  • Perform other routine tasks.



High school diploma/GED; with zero to one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.



Demonstrate Math proficiency as it relates to this job.
