Job Description

Summary:  Works with customers and records orders and forecasts into the system.  Expedite and communicate order status to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.  

Communicates with Customers, receives and enters orders.   Handles acknowledgments, expedites and other order adjustments in Oracle.

Runs daily reports for DMM and other data needs as required.

Handles customer issues concerning billing, products or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.

Supports Sales, Finance, Quality and Production with data and process tasks.

Enter and maintain customer orders and forecasts in Oracle and works with other departments to ensure on time delivery.

Education/Training/Experience:

Minimum High School diploma/GED; with three to six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.  

Ability to write routine reports and correspond with customers both written and verbal.   

Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word; Excel; inventory and order processing systems.

Demonstrate math proficiency as it relates to this job.
