The successful candidate must have a keen attention to detail, a high level of organizational skills, and be able to handle complex responsibilities. This position requires outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external team members.
Daily responsibilities include:
Arranging staff meetings
Drafting email messages
Updating event calendars
Obtaining vendor quotes
Tracking project expenses
Completing invoice payments
Communicating with appropriate personnel to obtain necessary information
Provide overall administrative and technical support.
Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter willing to take on large/additional tasks with limited supervision. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of documented related experience working in a professional setting as an administrative assistant and the ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with a close attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Extensive familiarity using the internet and search engines to conduct research
Knowledge and ability using Excel spreadsheet software.
