Senior UI Engineer

  • Write elegant, maintainable, reusable front-end code which works in all major browsers

  • Work in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment using React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and other frameworks

  • Work with developers, designers and product managers to produce new product features, as well as fix bugs, refactor and improve on existing parts of the user experience.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years developing web UI that’s successfully deployed in large scale, in a collaborative team environment, using JavaScript, CSS, React, Ajax, jQuery, and/or other frameworks (Prototype, Node, Dojo, D3, YUI, Backbone.js etc).  

  • 3+ years with continuous integration, automated testing & deployment of Javascript-based UI applications

  • 3+ years working with relational databases

  • Passion for designing and implementing high quality user interfaces

  • Demonstrated ability to write robust, clean, maintainable code.

Nice to have

  • Experience with all levels of tech stack.

  • Experience with mobile clients and responsive web design techniques.

  • Experience building Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or other financial software.

  • Experience mentoring other software engineers.

  • Understanding of back-end code and tools (e.g. Java/Groovy, Grails, Spring, PHP etc.)
