Marketing Programs Manager

As a Marketing Programs Manager, you will report to the Director of Demand Generation and work cross-functionally to support and innovate our Go-To-Market Strategy through campaign planning, designing, execution, analytics, data integration, personalization and project management. You’ll be responsible for proactively testing and optimizing new marketing campaigns across various channels including: email, social, influencers, webinars, etc. In this position, strong communication skills and the ability to message effectively across different personas and buying stages will be key to achieving successful results.

The ideal candidate is someone who has demonstrated successful project ownership, with a strong background in customer acquisition strategies and has the ability to identify and prioritize opportunities using data, and is analytical and metrics driven.

Responsibilities

Program/Campaign Management – 50%

  • Create, design, deploy and manage marketing campaigns based on different levels of the sales funnel (acquisition, nurture, engagement) using Marketo

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the entire buyer journey from awareness, consideration to decision stages and how to use that to shape and enhance campaign performance across multi touch points such as email, social, webinars, etc.

  • Measure campaign performance and analyze key metrics to optimize campaign effectiveness and funnel lead generation accordingly

  • Make recommendations on campaign optimization based on lead behavior, content gaps and/or tests to implement

  • Working closely with the Director of Demand Generation, Marketing and sales team to define objectives, share quality leads and provide insights

Data Reporting/Management/Cleansing – 30%

  • Take ownership of the marketing database, understand the lead behavior and journey and work closely with Marketing to set up engagement/nurture streams in Marketo

  • Create a database cleansing process for continuously removing cold and “fake” leads from the system

  • Automate or manually move leads into the right statuses. Update lead qualification fields including, job titles, industry, etc. Ability to set up lead scoring

  • Drive reporting within Marketo and Salesforce.com

Creativity – 20%

  • Drive the development of demand gen assets such as email, blogs, webinars, etc

  • Based on strategic guidance, create integrated assets in a variety of online channels to support new product launches, sales promotions, events, and other sales, marketing and channel programs

Requirements:

  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in marketing for a tech company or SaaS

  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, etc). Preferably Marketo

  • Experience with SFDC, running reports, campaign management and lead management

  • Analytical and metrics driven, with a desire to launch, learn, and iterate to continually improve programs

  • Strong communication and writing skills

  • Working knowledge of html, a huge plus

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines

  • Proactive attitude—you identify opportunities to drive business success

Nice to have experience:

  • Advanced Excel skills, mastery of pivot tables, vlookup, etc.

  • Experience running and creating webinar content

  • Email marketing experience
