About the role:

The Taulia marketing team is seeking a highly-motivated, flexible and results-oriented Marketing Communications Associate who will bring our global content strategy to the next level.

The ideal candidate will need to have stellar written, verbal, and visual communication skills with proven track record of communicating with multiple audiences, both internal and external. You will also have experience is public relations.

As the Marketing Communications Associate, you will use your brilliant marketing mind, broad experience, and communication prowess to help create and execute a world-class communication strategy. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Communication strategy - Work closely with the Head of Marcoms to define, create and execute a global corporate communication strategy.

  • External communications - Help define the strategic direction and tactical execution of activity, including crafting messages to existing clients and setting up robust communication channels.

  • Internal communications - Help create an internal communication strategy, which keeps all the remote offices linked to head office 

  • Customer advocacy - Manage the customer advocacy programme, including the development of case studies, award submission and compelling data which supports sales

  • Whitepapers - Create a roster of long-form pieces to draw customers and prospects in.

  • Public Relations – work with the Head of Marcoms to define and execute our public relations strategy. Identify the best methods for generating awareness with key audiences, craft winning messages, develop necessary 3rd party relationships and consistently raise Taulia's public profile.

  • Management of PR monitoring/listening solution and creation of dashboards for reporting to Taulia’s senior leadership team.

  • Industry Relations – work with the Head of Marcoms to develop and foster relationships with key industry associations, yielding conference speaking opportunities and other joint promotion opportunities – establish Taulia as the recognized thought leader in the working capital/supplier finance space. 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Marketing or Marcom/PR experience

  • B2B enterprise public relations, corporate communications, or marketing programs background with proven experience developing and implementing strategic public relations 

  • Degree level education in a related field; e.g. journalism, communications, creative writing, English

  • Experience with press release writing and media liaison is desirable

  • Familiarity with marketing automation is a plus

  • Startup experience is a huge plus

Competencies:

  • High-energy, self-starter, with a can-do attitude and superior attention to detail is essential

  • Exemplary communication and writing skills; ability to take complex concepts and articulate them in an easily understood format

  • Ability to communicate and partner cross-functionally and globally to effectively deliver product messages to press

  • Cross functional management - able to work effectively with other departments including sales, product and customer success
