About the Job:
Taulia is looking for an software engineering intern to join us for a 3 month internship. As an intern, you:
Are excited to work in a high velocity, agile startup team.
Are willing to be hands on in writing elegant, maintainable, reusable code in Groovy and Java using our tools Gradle, Spring, Jersey and more.
Are ready to step up and contribute implementing tools that will help our global customer base unlocking the cash they need when they need it.
Are keen on applying CS principles to build out frameworks supporting our engineering teams in delivering quality software and ensuring key metrics are met.
Are curious in how business metrics drive our product development and facilitate the prioritization of the right deliverables at the right time.
Keep things realistic. Solve challenging problems and – more importantly – help avoid them.
Competencies and Qualifications:
Current University student or recent graduate.
Have a can-do attitude and an existing track record of successfully completing projects.
Can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms based on completed class, coursework or practical experience through internships.
Strong desire in getting into the weeds with the ability to make it over the finish line.
Experience in Software Development in any object oriented language, preferably Java.
Nice to Have:
Experience working with: Web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, developing large software systems.
You’ve used some our tools: Groovy, Cassandra, MySQL, Jersey, Spring, Hibernate, Kafka, ActiveMQ, Jenkins, SonarQube, BPM Workflow Engines.
Demonstrated interest and ability to learn other programming languages as needed.
Curiosity to learn more about the financial system between B2B companies and dive into the accounts payable and accounts receivable financing space.
