About the job:

Taulia is looking for an intern who:

  • Is excited to work in a high velocity, agile startup environment.
  • Is excited to learn about reusable, standardized API designs.
  • Is keen to get their hands right into the code to build out the API and service logic.
  • Understands that code deliverables require testing in an automated, repeatable way.
  • Is enthusiastic, proactive, and has an existing track record of successfully completing projects.

Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Current university student or recent graduate of a BS/MS/PhD university program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related fields.
  • Can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of REST, JSON and the HTTP protocol.
  • Experience in software development using an Object Oriented language, i.e. Java.
  • Having mastered build scripts with Gradle and Maven in the past.
  • A working knowledge of dependency injection using Spring.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with web security, SAML and SSO.
  • Having a basic understanding of application containers, i.e. Docker.
  • Demonstrated interest and ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
  • Curiosity to learn more about the financial system between B2B companies and dive into the accounts payable and accounts receivable financing space.
