About the Job:

Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, you are the Marketing leader who will define and develop the worldwide marketing strategies, programs and PR for Taulia. Your core responsibility will be capturing the attention of key enterprise stakeholders in the market to help grow a qualified marketing funnel that can be nurtured and converted into true pipeline growth and qualified sales leads. In this role you will design, execute and manage the company’s marketing plan to include: overall company branding, core “go to” market messaging, solution marketing, lead generation, awareness and PR.

The key stakeholders are typically CFO’s, Treasurers and Chief Procurement Officers of large international companies. The ideal candidate is hands-on but able to think and act strategically, able to communicate Taulia’s value proposition in creative ways and a believer in continuous measurement of the effectiveness of all demand generation activities for further optimization. You have extensive experience and a successful track record in global B2B marketing.


Build a comprehensive, multi-dimensional marketing plan that establishes Taulia as the leading Working Capital Management network and:

  • Develop Taulia’s narrative, messaging and brand to improve Share of Voice and Engagement from prospects and customers
  • Build and accelerate demand from the marketplace through an intelligent account-led (ABM) approach achieving agreed pipeline targets
  • Successfully develop and maintain Taulia’s value-based differentiation in the marketplace. Launch new products in close alignment with the Product team
  • Enable the sales teams to more successfully sell through the provision of the right training, toolsets and assets

Demand Generation:

Engage and generate demand from the marketplace to realize Taulia’s growth targets through an intelligent account based marketing (ABM) approach.

  • Lead the implementation and execution of a digital demand generation strategy including ABM
  • Manage campaign execution across all channels – paid, email, webinars, trade shows etc
  • Optimize Taulia’s website working with Solution Marketing
  • Lead inbound marketing activities including use of social and digital media, Drift and website chat
  • Work with the communications team to optimize paid for social media engagement
  • Lead development of the EBR team and manage their effectiveness  
  • Partner with the Sales team to execute and align on key field marketing activities
  • Cultivate customer references, work with Customer Success to expand references and increase use of customers in demand generation activities
  • Collaborate with our key partners to develop joint-marketing plans to sell our solutions worldwide
  • Manage and report on marketing effectiveness through use of metrics and dashboards


Build and execute a communications strategy that successfully raises Taulia’s profile, positioning us as the leader in technology-led WCM

  • Define and execute Taulia’s social media strategy to help us connect to our customers (buyers and suppliers) as well as partners and key influencers
  • Develop a comprehensive, multi-dimensional PR plan to increase overall brand awareness
  • Increase thought leadership with white papers, blogs and other reports
  • Build relationships with industry press, bloggers, and influencers
  • Provide leadership in messaging development and brand positioning

Solution Marketing:

Develop and ensure adoption of a differentiated ’why Taulia’ narrative for Taulia’s current and new solutions

  • Be the solution evangelist and voice of the customer
  • Build differentiated solution messaging across full solution portfolio
  • Create solution content - sales enablement assets, product videos, references, solution pages etc
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for current and new products
  • Lead product development feedback through market engagement and research
  • Participate in the development of pricing strategies
  • Engage with analysts to improve engagement and reporting on Taulia

Sales Enablement:

Enable a world class sales team through strategic programs, training, toolsets, assets and process

  • Create and execute enablement programs for sales, EBRs and partners
  • Lead Sales, EBR and partner on-boarding, ongoing training, coaching and effectiveness
  • Support solution go-to-market strategy for sales and partners
  • Take responsibility for enablement platforms and applications
  • Be responsible for maintaining Sales, SC and EBR playbooks
  • Develop Business Case and Competitive landscape assets

Marketing Team

Build, lead and inspire the Marketing team:

  • Hire top marketing professionals and form them into a great team
  • Lead, direct and inspire the marketing team
  • Effectively collaborate and partner with Senior Management, Sales, Customer Success and Product teams


  1. Minimum of 10+ years international experience in a variety of B2B enterprise marketing roles, including working for companies selling financial solutions or services (Required)  
  2. A successful track record in digital demand generation to develop, implement and optimize lead generation programs across a range of marketing channels and using ABM strategies (Required)
  3. Creative and innovative thinker with a “can do” attitude, proactive problem solving skills, strong attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast paced environment (Required)  
  4. Strong focus on measurements and reporting and a willingness to be held accountable for results (Required)
  5. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with customers & prospects and Taulia cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Demand generation, C-level) (Required)
  6. Proficiency with a variety of commonly used marketing tools including Marketo, Salesforce and various Account Based Marketing tools such as Bombora, Demandbase and Engagio (Required)   
  7. Ability to develop compelling messaging and to communicate consistently across channels (Desirable)
  8. Familiar with developing strategies for increasing awareness across a variety of channels including digital and social media, analysts and industry influencers (Desirable)
  9. Expertise in creating content and working with product, demand generation and sales enablement to produce the right materials for internal and external use. Strong writing, storytelling and public presentation skills (Desirable)
  10. Based in our San Francisco headquarters (Required)
