About the Job:

The Financial Operations Specialist role is a unique and exciting opportunity to facilitate smooth B2B transactions in an industry-leading business model. You will work closely with the Supplier Success Team, Funding/Trading and Payment Operations, Technical/Engineering, Product Development, and Taulia Customers to ensure Taulia maintains and improves delivery of our services to both our internal and external customers and partners.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with finance partners and other stakeholders on issues that arise around early payments
  • On-board new customers and suppliers into our platform seamlessly
  • Create, maintain and distribute internal and external reporting
  • Do root-cause analysis
  • Triage incoming requests from different stakeholders and prioritize them accordingly
  • Take ownership of operational problems and drive resolution
  • Contribute to the planning of process and system improvements


Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or FinTech
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Degree in accounting, finance, economics or business/related field
  • Enjoys discovering, analyzing and solving problems
  • Ability to change direction quickly, juggle time-sensitive priorities, and evaluate trade-offs
  • Account reconciliation skills and ability to work with large volume of data, including reviewing payments, bank statements and analyzing compliance
  • Strategic thinking, look beyond the short-term decisions and their implications in months and years down the line.
  • Self-motivated, detail- and result oriented with strong sense of initiative and urgency
  • Team player with exceptional determination
  • Excel knowledge (e.g., Vlookup, Index Match, Pivot Tables)
  • Fluency in English


Nice to have:

  • Experience within a Global Team
  • Knowledge of working capital management
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP system, Salesforce, MySQL
