About the Job:
Taulia is looking for a passionate Data Scientist to join our growing Data Science team. As a Data Scientist, you will work collaboratively to create, maintain, and bring our data visualization products to life.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Taulia’s network dataset contains hundreds of millions of transactions between our network companies all over the globe. You will use this dataset to design and build models to predict cash flow, dilution, risk, and corporate payment behaviors.
Collaborate with Product leadership to create new analytical tools that increase Taulia’s strategic advantage over our competitors.
Investigate opportunities to enrich Taulia data in order to maximize model performance.
Drive Taulia’s data models toward real-time interactive user experience.
Continuously monitor, calibrate and improve production models.
Skills and Qualifications:
4+ years of working experience with statistical analyses, data mining, and/or model building/machine learning applications.
Foundation in statistics and probability.
Proficiency in Python data analysis and ML model building.
Proficient in SQL.
Experience with production model design, development, and monitoring.
Proficiency deploying new predictive models into fully-operational production environment.
History of active participation in Kaggle competitions or similar.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in statistics, math, applied math, physics, economics, biostatistics, computer science or related area.
2+ years of working experience in finance risk underwriting/modeling.
Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools like Looker or Tableau.
Experience with entity resolution modeling.
Experience with Spark/Hadoop.
Experience with script and shell programming.
Experience in deep artificial neural networks.
Experience in natural language processing.
