About the Job:

As an Account Director, you will act as both a relationship manager for key accounts but have interactions across a number of accounts to drive new revenue from these customers. You will engage directly on assigned accounts and manage activities on all others (like renewals) in order to understand opportunity areas for adding new ADs and/or for upsell.

The list of solutions you can sell will be agreed to so that there is no confusion on what solutions can/should be passed to the Sales AE for follow-up.

The AD role is designed to ensure that our most critical customers are (a) getting maximum value from Taulia’s solutions, (b) buying or subscribing to everything Taulia have to sell because they know we deliver the results; (c) measuring and celebrating their ROI with us, talking about it publicly (on stage, through press releases, and as references), and (d) advocating and evangelizing the Taulia message about how companies should free up working capital to run more competitive and effective supply chains. 

Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing the Taulia-Customer relationship.   Ensuring we have (a) ongoing strategic partnership, (b) alignment of strategy, (c) visibility to any account risk and a mitigation plan.

  • Upselling. Upselling our services (from AP automation and offering Early Payment opportunities to suppliers to an expanding set of solutions including AR financing, Cash Forecasting, Fraud detection, FX, Inventory Financing etc).

  • Lead Generation. Some solutions we will not close…but hand to our Enterprise Sales team.

  • Renewals. Navigating / executing Customer renewals on portfolio accounts.

Preferred Requirements:

  • At least 7 years experience in account management, software sales and/or finance.

  • Proficient in procure-to-pay and working capital management concepts and solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills / high emotional quotient in order to successfully navigate internally and to help get to YES with the customer.

  • Self-starter, self-motivated individual who can take initiative without much direction or guidance to achieve the desired result.
