Position Title: Visual Designer
The ideal candidate has a finely honed sense of composition and an eye for layouts. They know how to create a strong visual hierarchy and communicate information effectively through design. The ideal candidate should have a broad portfolio, demonstrating strong ad design, production design, branding, mobile design, motion graphics, and web design. Knowledge in HTML/CSS is a bonus. A successful candidate will be able to work effectively in both a collaborative and independent environment to complete projects & milestones.
Design and build mobile ads for RFPs and campaigns, such as rich media, playables & interactive ad experiences.
Develop video case studies and product ‘how to’ videos
Cultivate key relationships with sales, product and executive stakeholders to deliver world-class design & products to support company-wide initiatives and goals.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams on UI projects.
Design marketing collateral including whitepapers, one-sheets, and house ads.
Give and solicit feedback from the design team in order to continually raise our bar for quality.
Provide digital design support in the form of email newsletters, blog images, social posts etc. showcasing the Tapjoy brand.
2-3 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in a design-related discipline, such as: Visual Design, Web Design or equivalent work experience.
Extensive experience using Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Sketch, PowerPoint.
Video design a plus (Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects)
Exceptional design skills, production value, multi-tasking and attention to detail.
Ability to execute creative work from concepts and wireframes to final visual designs
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
A willingness to give and receive critique, build skills and develop as a designer
Must be organized, able to act independently, possess strong time management skills, and able to adapt to evolving business needs.
Experience in storytelling across multiple audiences.
