Senior Product Manager
Product/Design Management | Seoul, South Korea | Full Time
We are looking for an experienced product manager to drive the evolution of Tapjoy’s Offerwall Consumer experience. Traditionally, mobile game publishers leverage a freemium engagement model that monetizes their user base using in-app purchases to extend game play. While effective, this severely limits engagement from users who are not ready to open up their wallets or users who are still evaluating. As an alternative to in-app purchases, Tapjoy’s market leading “offerwall” monetization platform is now embedded in many of the top game app publishers such as Scopely, Glu and EA. Together, we help mobile gamers earn app currency without in-app purchases to unlock gameplay or extend their user journey by completing offers from performance advertisers. Tapjoy is now part of the Ironsource family that pairs the best “offerwall” with the best video ad network benefitting publishers, advertisers, and consumers
This product role will be focused on enabling our core users to quickly and efficiently find and convert the next offer, earning app currency to complete their next objective. The ideal candidate has delivered world class online consumer experiences related to monetization or e-commerce from discovery through conversion to retention. You have taken on meaningful metric-driven consumer experience goals to improve conversion rates, retention rates and customer lifetime value. An understanding of how the mobile advertising ecosystem operates and mobile gaming would be an additional benefit.
As Senior Product Manager, you will work with a talented team that delivers the experience and corresponding platform services for mobile app users engaging with our wide array of app publishers and advertisers. In addition, you’ll work with developers, data scientists, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the organization.
In this role you can expect to:
Be the product owner for the core Offerwall experience from Offerwall browse and search to offer engagement through conversion.
Be the champion for our consumers, protecting them from churning, while extending their customer journey.
Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify growth opportunities and experimentation to validate and iterate.
Conceive, iterate, and validate features to monetize and retain our publisher network of mobile app consumers.
Own the product roadmap and build upon the current state using your product development experience, collaborative skills, analytical skills, and deep user empathy.
Operate at the sprint, quarter, half-annual, and multi-year strategic levels. You’ll help us devise the best solutions to today’s problems, with tomorrow’s opportunities in mind.
Why we are excited for you to join our team:
You will take a leading role to maximize customer lifetime value while aligning product strategy with the broader Product team and Tapjoy leadership.
You will synthesize a range of user priorities and needs, becoming a user expert for internal stakeholders across both Android and iOS ecosystems.
You will help define your team’s OKRs and be responsible for achieving them.
Who you are:
You’ve successfully moved the needle delivering significant lift to key business metrics through launch and a/b test validation of complex, large scale, product features impacting a diverse set of business stakeholders.
You believe that the best products are built using an iterative, data-driven approach and made by high performing collaborative teams that have mutual trust and respect. You can help bridge the gap between team members but also escalate matters if needed.
You have experience performing root cause analysis and understanding process flows.
You are naturally curious, data obsessed to uncover why, confidently querying databases using SQL, where a day buried in data to answer complex questions is fun and fulfilling.
3+ years of experience in a software Product Management role, working with engineers and other stakeholders to execute ambitious visions.
Master’s or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technical or business field.
