Job Description

Position Title: Manager, Human Resources

Position Description:
As Manager of Human Resources, you will be directly responsible for the administration, coordination and evaluation of the HR function. You will participate in and help lead the global strategy, development and execution of key HR functions including engagement, employee relations, benefits and retention. Top candidates will have a proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, fluid work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks, and manage work efficiently.

Core Competencies:

  • Operational owner of core HR functions

  • Help develop organization strategies by identifying and researching HR issues; contributing information, analysis and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction

  • Help guide and manage DEI initiatives in partnership with the DEI committee. This may include supporting the growth of Employee Resource Groups, taking the lead on strategic projects to help drive change, and partnering with recruiting to strategize diversifying the applicant pool

  • Own and manage employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives

  • Review, track and strategically enhance employee benefits in order to support a growing and diverse employee population

  • Engage with leadership and employees on employee relations issues by addressing and resolving them promptly, effectively and objectively while complying with applicable laws and policies

  • Oversee the design, administration and effectiveness of ongoing rewards and recognition programs

  • Guide management and employee actions by updating company policies and procedures, and communicating and enforcing organizational values

  • Manage immigration administration in partnership with outside counsel

  • Ensure ongoing compliance of all legal and organizational requirements, standards and procedures

  • Develop and update employee policies and procedures, including updating employee handbooks for all locations as necessary


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training

  • 5-7 years of experience working in human resources

  • 2+ years direct management experience a must

  • 2+ years experience working on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives with a proven track record

  • Past experience working in a start-up or equivalent fast-paced environment is highly desirable

  • International experience a plus

  • Roll up your sleeves mentality and ability dig into the day-to-day aspect of all HR area

  • Ability to lead others and a track record of change management

  • The ideal candidate will be spirited, self-directed, highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency

  • Provide organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
